Caribbean Cruise ~DAY 8!!!~

Day 8!! *~Sunday, April 17th, 2011!!!~*

WELCOME HOME TO *FLORIDA* once again!!


It was a sad morning to wake up and say GOODBYE to this TEENY TINY little state room of ours.

It was sad to say GOODBYE to the great food we had been eating all week. (Don't even ask what I am doing.) ;)



It was hard to say GOODBYE to this lovely vessel called CARNIVAL VALOR!

It was HARD to stay in an AIRPORT all freakin DAY waiting for our flights that were having issues! HAA HAA But, we did enjoy a yummy drink! ;)



It was HARD to talk on the phone with the little dudes and not be able to see them sooner than later at the airport!
BUT FINALLY...we made it home to these sweet DUDES of ours!!!


But of course......


After coming home to these sweet little bundles of joy, which we LOVE with all our hearts...It was hard to think.....man....when will we be able to go on vacation again. ;)

Check out my collection of BELLS! Yes, I am a grandma...and enjoy collecting them. It is always fun (and kinda a hassle) to search for that PERFECT bell to get in each location we go. I got 5 bells on this last trip. One from each island and a Carnival one also. My Honduras bell is pretty funny. It is handmade out of clay, with egg shells as texture. Kind unique!! Of course I found one I WANTED and LOVED so much more right after I made this ladies day and bought hers. Oh well, what can you do!! I hope to fill my whole curio cabinet someday. Maybe when I really am a grandma. ;)

Caribbean Cruise ~DAY 7!!!~

Day 7!!! *~Saturday, April 16, 2011*~

SEA DAY!!

Today was the last day on the ship! It was time to sail home. So, what a better way to end a trip is to RELAX!! We did just that. We woke up late, got ready in our swim wear that we have worn pretty much all week 24/7 ;)! We swam in the pools, went down the slides, got in the hot tubs, and slept ALL UNDER THE WONDERFUL SUN!!! Oh, and ATE!!


All ready to go hit the pools! Looks like I had seen a little bit of sun this week. :)


Last day on this HOME away from home!


Dearest was snooozing away in these SWEET and OHH so comfy sun chairs/beds!
That evening it was time to go to our last shows of the trip. We hung out in the eagles lounge and took TONS of goofy and crazy pictures (which again, I will spare you!)


We hit the board walk one last time!! LOVED watching us sail at night in the open sea. AHHH!

Then it was time to eat our last MIDNIGHT snack! PIZZA!!!!

But we were not ready to be done yet, we hit our room for one last ROOM SERVICE!!


YUP! Cheese cake!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Mmmmm good!
Then to go see our LAST animal towel! Yes, some of these scare me. ;)

And YES, LAST night to be rocked asleep for a awhile. Ohhh how well we slept on this nice BIG BOAT!!!

Caribbean Cruise ~DAY 6!!!~

Day 6! *~Friday, April 15, 2011~*

COZUMEL!!!!

Today was the last day to get off of the BIG BOAT and do fun stuff! We wanted to live it up to it fullest and we DID just that!

We had planned on renting scooters for the day. (Which are SUPER cheap! ;)) We planned on just jumping on them and driving all around the island, and that is what we did. (This way we could stop where we wanted and take as much time at whatever place we wanted. GOOD PLAN..YES!)

It ended up being a PERFECT plan. YES!

We looked like DUMB and DUMBER for sure on the scooters...but we had a blast, and that is all that counts!





Our first stop was at PARADISE BEACH and it WAS!!!

This beach was only $12 to get in..and it had ALL of the bouncy/HUGE air/play on thinger things that you could dream about. We laughed our heads off!

We played on these for hours, and then moved onto the PARADISE fresh water pool..and that was just about if not even MORE fun!! Great times! What a crack up!

Then it was time to hop on the SWEET scooter and hit more beaches and more beaches and more beaches!!! We kept doing that all day! Aaron was taking in all of the fun! Silly boy.

It was time to eat! We were STARVING!! ;) We hit a LOCAL grocery store and LOVED all of the FRESH breads and pastries. WOW!! Wish they had all of that here in the states!

On our scooter ride, we even got to touch one of these!! They then made us pay them a tip. HA!

Of course sparing you thousands of pictures...it was time to get back on our HOME away from home! Ours was the one on the RIGHT!

Then it was time to eat AGAIN!! Hottie Aaron waiting to snarf away! He was always the best at eating all sorts of CRAZY and different types of foods.

We were beat, and went back to our room and found it all ready to jump in...BUT...it was not time for that yet....

It was time for the NIGHT life and more importantly KARAOKE!!

It was DAVIN'S 2nd BIRTHDAY and I was on vaca (yes, felt a bit guilty) and he was home with grandma....so I thought it would only be best to SING/KARAOKE to him a little birthday tune. (It was super embarrassing, my song wouldn't start....but we did it anyways...anything for my baby. :))


You guess it! IT was then again for the 11:45pm MEXICAN BUFFET!! Yup, cruises starve you to death!! HAA HA. We did indeed eat one more time!!



And then....we went to bed!! :)

Caribbean Cruise ~DAY 5!!!~

Day 5! Thursday, *~April 14th, 2011~*

BELIZE!

Today on the cruise was by far the FAV!!! Thousands of pictures takin, but blogger is SUCH a pain these days...so just a few are what you get!

We woke bright and early and took a TENDER across to BELIZE! We had no plans for this day, we really just thought that we would get there and "wing it".

We did just that! We got to there and the locals said, "sorry, no beaches here". WHAT!!! We were super bummed. We had thought about shopping, eating and just hanging out for the day. BUT then we thought...HECK, we are IN BELIZE..let's do SOMETHING worth our time. (We really didn't want to go home and say, dang..wish we had done something more than just shop.) SOO, we did just that.....we booked the MOST FUN boat ride to our VERY own PRIVATE island. Words just CANNOT describe it...so just take my word for it!

The locals chatted with us all the way there. (to our private island) They filled us in on the info of BELIZE! It was super interesting and they were just sooo dang nice and funny.

We then pulled up to OUR (as we liked to think) very own ISLAND. It was SOOO beautiful! It was small, quaint, and just PERFECT for our day in BELIZE! There was a hut with some things to buy, but other wise it was just a hand full of people that were there to enjoy this PARADISE!! AHHHHH

This little island was where us gals sun bathed all day long (HEAVEN) while the boys snorkeled. It really was HEAVEN!! The water was SOO clear and the sand was so white! I swam around for ever too! LOVED IT!




We then had to catch our boat ride back to the "main land" so we could catch our other boat ride back to the ship. We were super sad (really)....we never wanted to leave this HEAVEN ON EARTH...but we had to....BOO!
This was BELIZE' main land! (We did shop a minute or two before we left! (So wish I had gotten some of that beautiful jewelery!) Ahhh dang!!

We got back on the BIG boat and hurried and got all cleaned up for our SECOND formal night of the cruise! We hit our early dinner reservation and ate our hearts out! But of course! ;)
Our waiters all danced and sang on the table tops even for us in the dining room! HAA HAA.

We went to the theater and watched a SWEET show! It was the TOP show of the cruise. These break dancers were AWESOME!!! They even did another show for us out in the hall. This is where this picture is taken. Ouch, he is on his HEAD! ;)
We of course got changed into comfy clothes and lived up the night life with late night FOOD, silly pictures (which I will spare you) and then it was time to hit the sack! Aaron of course kissed the frog first before we climbed into bed! ;) We were beat for this perfect day...but of course TOMORROW is COZUMEL!!!
