What a WEEK!!

Boy was this week a busy BUSY one!!! My head was feeling a bit like this!!!

(Cabbage complimentary of Aaron's sweet garden! ;))

The days went like this...

Monday: It all started out with some back yard pool side. The boys had some friends over to run around and splash with.

The boys like to turn the slides upside down and ride them like a horse!
Funny stuff....but whatever works!
Then to beat the heat..we love side walk CHALK in the shade!!!

Tuesday: We had a fun and fab BBQ with Aaron's winter job (Alpine) work mates (or High school buddies) out back. They always are inviting us over for BBQ's so we figured it was finally our turn. Some were not able to come, but those that did...it was a hilarious time! Thank You! Good laughs all around!

Eating ice cream in the dark! (Dang, the days are getting short already!!)
Wednesday: I drove down to the Clearfield Aquatic center to meet up with my friend Cheri and her kids for the day. This was SUCH a nice place! Beats our pool hands down! I highly recommend it. It has indoor and outdoor pools AND splash pads. We kept going in and out and in and out to beat the heat! The boys loved the "castle" as they called it. They could climb on and go down the slides along with all of the other pools. They can't stop talking about it!!

Lots to do and tons of fun for sure! Great times!!

This was Davin's favorite thing..stepping on the water! HA!

Tate went down this slide a million times!
Cheri and Charee...are all smiles!
CUTE!

All in a row!

Outside!
Davin was POOPED and ready for some snacks by the end!
After hanging and chatting at Cheri's place for a bit I ran over to my oldest sisters place for a big shindig in honor of my nephew ~Christian~ getting his mission call.

It was SOOO exciting!

Everybody eating and waiting for the envelope to be opened!!

He got called to RUSSIA!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH (Don't you just love his taste in style?)
Thursday: The BIG awaited day had come for Aaron's playoff NARWHALS hockey game!!! They were undefeated besides one game. Lots of family and friends came to cheer him on for the championship!!
His family!!
He got put in the BOX!!
They lost! Boo! But it was a GREAT game. Best I have seen yet! Very fast moving, lots of action and YES even a fight. Fights should not happen in this league...but it was kinda exciting anyways. (Wouldn't have been if Aaron was involved though. ;) Ha ha!)

Daddy and the boys! They get soooo excited to see him right after.
WOW! He gets super stinky and sweaty...but we still stood by him.
Friday: We were suppose to hit a reunion in the Uintah's camping. We decided to skip out due to such a busy and hecktic week and the long drive. We hit the fair for a bit intead. Ran into lots of fun and exciting people. HA HA!! Some of which we knew. HA! No, really...it is always fun to run into those we haven't seen in years...and all those people that come out of the wood works. Everyone goes to the fair, I swear.

Grandma spoiled the boys with some Cotton CANDY! YUMMY and MESSY of course!
We love going and seeing the animals the most! These are my sister-in-laws, sisters PIGS! Davin loved them, Tate was not so sure about them.
Mom and Dad were not sure about them either!

BIG BLUE was cool to see though!! But the kids were still a little freaked out about this large animal! HEE HEE!!
We then headed home and set up this huge "CASTLE" tent to sleep in due to not going camping in the Uinta's. Aaron is quite partial to this large thing. He LOVES setting it up...on the rare occasions that we do. It was also a FULL/HUGE moon out and there was suppose to be some sort of star show. We didn't see it! Next time we will see it....on the tramp though!

So COZY and comfy! I swear they sleep better in a tent than in their own beds.
Plenty of head room, and space for the whole town! HUGE!

Saturday: We slept in and woke ohh so refreshed from our lovely nights sleep! We packed and headed down south to hang with our RY AND REE Robinson friends! Due to us not going to Lake Powell with them this year, we hit COWABUNGA BAY instead!! Not the same...BUT SOOO MUCH FUN!!!

This place is "THE PLACE" I tell ya!! Tons of slides, Tons to do..and super CUTE and FUNNNNNNNNNNN!

A perfect day for a SWEET water park!
You can't stay dry here..that's for sure!
There was TWO HUGE buckets of water that splash (WORLDS LARGEST!!) Nine water slides and tons of WATER...EVERYWHERE!!!
Here one dumps!!! Ahhhh
The lazy river...was oooohhh sooo LAZY!! (sorry about the water marks!)
LAZY DAYZ for us! AHHHH
Beautiful BLUE sky and water!
Sorry this it not overly appropriate, I apologize...but it was super funny at the time! He had no clue what was even happening! So funny! Love you Tate!
Our family @ COWABUNGA!
We thought it was only appropriate to take a picture in front of this HALE'IWA North shore sign. Six years ago we were there with these great pals of ours!
See the sign? That's our sign!
We then went to Ryan's family's place in South Jordan for Pizza, ice cream and chatting. We LOVE their families!!! Their families are just about as much ours as theirs...due to us hanging and going places with them so much over the years. SUPER FUN and VERY awesome and generous people!

That's the week!!

Only one more FULL week of relaxing and care free summer before I head back to work. Mixed feeling here about it all...but it will be good! Gotta get LOADS of FUN in til then!!

More summer time!

My dear friend Brittnee moved away a year or so ago. :( BOO! It has been so sad having her gone, but we do meet "in the middle" at times. This last week we planned on meeting at the 'Tree house Museum'. This was great for the kids to have some fun while us ladies chatted away. It was great!! The kids played for hours...just having a BLAST!! After which we then went and ate a YUMMMY salad at Costa Vida while watching the "Flow riders" surf. SOO COOL!! I am going back to try that with my hubs for sure. It looks super hard, but FUN! (I want to try the "Ifly" also!!) We let the kids play in the fountains for a bit, and then had to say our goodbyes. Sad times. It might be a while before we meet up again due to her having her sweet little one. Here are some of the pics to go along with the day.

The TREE HOUSE MUSEUM!!!

These horses are all around in Ogden outside! Tate wanted to ride one before we went inside and rode more.

Davin on a COW!
Then on a horse!

Tate looks like a natural.
Other random and fun times around the museum!
Milking!!
Crafting time! These are the animals the kids made! SUPER CUTE!
I had to get a pic of Britt's belly while she wasn't looking. Sorry Britt, but it was soo cute! ha ha!
More fun times around the place...
Mr. Davin President!!
We made beautiful flowers! Haa haa
Even played out in the water outside! Got soaked!
Lunch time eating yummy Costa Vida!!
Watching...Flowrider!! This IS on my TOO DO list soon!

Thanks for the great times Brittnee (as always!!)

Of course more pool time this week!! Always a joy going for our weekly visit!

BEAR LAKE RASPBERRY DAYS!!! We took a drive to the good ol Lake of the Bear. We watched the raspberry days parade, enjoyed some booth shopping, but more importantly enjoyed listening to Grandpa Scott's band (WB) playing the entertainment. Good times were had!

The parade was just about to start! The kids where ready with bag in hand to fill FULL.
Raspberry floats were a must, of course!!!
We even were lucky enough to run into our good friends the Whitesides!

They let Aaron borrow their large umbrella even, so he wouldn't melt. He had the best seat in the house...sitting back watching the parade and eating all of the candy!!

What a great parade. They had a walking petting zoo too. COOL!!
Then for the main event!! THE FAB ENTERTAINMENT for the evening!! Good job SCOTTIE! (front left)
Grandma and the kids front and center!
The boys even got a bit closer than should have! HA HA! Cute though!
Relaxing!

CAMPING TIME!!!

It is now the time of year to try this Camping stuff out again. The kids are getting older and Davin hadn't done it yet. We tried it...and it was a SUCCESS!!! The dutch ovens were AWESOME, the camp sight was PERFECT, the friends...hilarious and best of all....the boys slept great! YAY!! Now we might just try our UINTA camping trip reunion after all??

Here are some of the pics...

Eating our traditional dutch ovens. (We have done these ever since we met the Holton's 4 1/2 years ago.) Good times!

COBBLER!!
SMORES!!
Our FAMILY!!!!
Around the fire til the kids crashed.
BED and TENT time!! Tate was SOOO excited!! (Silly Aaron!)

The next morning the boys went fishing of course. The girls slept in with the kids. We then made a HUGE (mountain men) breakfast and enjoyed our most FABULOUS camp sight. ~Left hand fork canyon.~

We played cards, and so did the kids!
We played in the river. (we found a perfect and slow/safe area.) It was cold, but refreshing and so much fun!

PEEK A BOO DAVIN!
It was such a HOT day, the boys chilled out for quite some time IN the river.
The rest of the group then joined. SO MUCH FUN! The men and kids even dunked their heads! OUCH!
We just chilled and enjoyed our entire day up in the B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. mountains! Loved it!!

Good memories and times have been made!

That's a wrap for the week!
