Davin's field trip!

Davin's cute preschool goes yet again on a field trip....and this time it is to the grocery store! He was so excited to go and loved it the whole time as well. They visited all of the departments and learned about how they all worked. It was cute to see and watch the kids.

January blahhh!

January has always been the most boring and blah month of the year. It really is hard to have such a high during Christmas and have nothing a week or two later....So we try and fill in the gaps and get out. Well, this year the illness has been going around like crazy so we get out when we can, but have to be careful not to get all the fun germs at the same time. We took the risk and went to the mall to get out and to let all the cousins play together. They have so much fun! It is so cute.

The boys also are loving going out to play in the snow. They are old enough now that they go out and play for along time too. Sooo nice! Mr. Snowman was built along with two more. Tate built them and I decorated them...and Zip ate the carrot nose about as fast as well. Ha Ha!

Date nights are always nice to get out and maybe get away from the kids for a minute...(did I just say that?) Love the kids, but need a break at times too. Dinner and treats!! Mmmmm!! Fun times with the hubs and our besties!

New years Eve and New years Day festivities! 2014!!

New years eve we decided to take it easy this year. We normally are party animals but due to the funeral right after Christmas...we needed to slow it down a notch and let the kids sleep. We were bummed because we had numerous invitations to super fun homes...BUT you do what you gotta do. It still turned out super FUN though. We had a little New Years Eve dinner with the kids before they went to bed. They thought it was great. After they were snoring logs, my sister Cindi and her family came over to hang the night away with us. We had lots of chip dips and drinks. YUM! We watched a movie and played a game before the clinking of the glasses along with the ball drop! It was a great and enjoyable night!

The kids New Years Eve dinner!

The Smith's came to play!

Happy NEW YEAR 2014!!!

I will be up all night peeing after all the bubbly!
New Years Day was SUPER duper fun! We were invited to our friends "The Robinson's" for a huge breakfast! It was super delicious.  We then hit the Surf N Swim in Layton. It was our first time going and we all LOVED it! We will be going a lot more, that is for sure. The evening we went over to Robinson's again for pizza and to play "just dance" on the wii! It was hilarious! What a blast of a day to start off the New Year of 2014!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 2014 will be GREAT!

Grandpa Mc passed away :(

We knew the day was soon coming, but it always is hard and still a shock! Grandpa Mc 98 years young passed on December 21st 2013!! He died at Aaron's dad's house but had lived alone all the way up til three weeks prior. Crazy how well he had done at that age. He was a great man, that loved my kids and us to the fullest and all of the extended family. He had the memory of a collage student, which was so amazing to everyone! I could only wish to remember phone numbers, birthdays, and so much more at my age now!!! ;) He will be greatly missed by all.

When we got into Logan we drove straight to grandpas home. Family from outta town were staying there. It was so different and sad not having him there in his chair and the TV on sooo loud. (This house will be knocked down within 6 months. He sold it to the school next to him years ago and they were just waiting for him to go! ;((( ) We walked around and took some pictures of the home with so many memories.

Grandpa always sat on this porch when we would come and leave!

Inside the house one last time.

The basement!
Found this gem! The Mc family picture when Aaron was young. HA HA! Cracks me up. Tony was a paper cut out due to him being on his mission.
The obituary and the program! The funeral was great. The talks and the songs were great. Tony did a slide show that had lots of pictures of all the family with him. Lots of tears were shed of sadness and joy. It was a roller coaster of a day!

The graveside service was very cold but neat. It was a super fast one due to being so cold. We then headed back to the church for the luncheon. The ward was super sweet and spoiled us so much..it was yummy!
Our Kent Mc family!
Uncle Derek LOVED hanging with Crew. He played on the floor with him even. Ha!

Nate was being so silly and wanted some hair on his bald head. He used mine! :)
Todd wanted to be blonde on his bald head! He he!
HOTT!
We all went one last time to The ARTIC CIRCLE!!! Grandpa LOVED this place and LOVED all the workers too. The employees had a heart attack when 50+ of us walked in all at once, but mainly were getting ice cream they were ok. We took over the whole joint. They did call in three extra employee's to take care of us. It was soo much fun to sit around and chat all evening. We laughed we cried and pretty much said our goodbyes for now. Now that grandpa died I am sure we wont be seeing each other near as much, which is super sad. I LOVE all these people. They are such great cousins to Aaron but more importantly friends to me. I seriously LOVE this family! They are the best!!!!!

Right before we left, Crew took a spill on the floor. Everyone was so cute to him (employees and family) it made Crew feel much better.
We will miss Gpa Mc for sure but know he is super duper happy on the other side. Til we meet again!! LOVES!
