THE RULES
1. The person that tagged you...Kristina
2. Post these rules.
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them.

Quirk #1- Frames, I have to have them match. If I have decor with black...my frames and other decor has to be Black. Cherry wood furniture.....cherry wood frames and accessories. There are some exceptions...but for the most part at my home, this is how it has to be!

Quirk #2- I love closing things up. Cupboards.....closed! WISH I had an Armour so I could close up the TV, DVD, and VCR. Wish everything had doors on them. I like a really clean looking space and the less that you see the better! Strange I know!

Quirk #3- I have said this in other tags, but I love cleaning. It just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy.

Quirk #4- I want a collection of something, so I thought that bells would be fun. since Tate has come along, we haven't traveled as much. So I have gotted bells from Logan, Idaho, SLC just silly places to make my collection look HUGE and that I am the worlds best traveler and the coolest bell collector. (I know, I know, in due time I will achieve neat and wonderful bells...just you wait.)

Quirk #5- I am not near as bad as I use to be with matching. It use to be a must, to have your belt match your shoes with you purse. Now I don't care near as much, but I must have every color of sandal and/or shoe to match shirts and accessories. Just a great excuse to go and shop! SWEET!

Quirk #6- Keeping my child's nose and ears clean. I feel like this is so impossible! Tate has the waxiest ears...I make him really mad by cleaning them out, but it really bugs me if they are nasty. His nose has been good in the summer, but in the winter..ohhh I wiped and picked his nose like crazy. So sick I know!

Thanks Kristina, ok now I tag: Anne, Crystal, Janell, Emilee, Rachel, Susana (only if you are wanting to....don't feel like you have to, maybe you just don't dare!?!

Big girls don't cry!

It's sounds so silly to say, but with July coming to an end I just might cry. I LOVE July more than any other month! I wait for it all year and when it comes I try to enjoy every minute!!! I love August but it's just not the same without the festivities, crowds and such. We have had a ball with Tate and more importantly seeing him smile at the great and fun things summer brings. It has been very different taking him to some of these things because the last 5/6 years we could just pick up and go....stay out as late as possible and so on....it is much harder to get places but VERY worth it. The 24th of July started out at the famous North Logan parade. We always go and support my home town parade at 10:00am and then go to MT. View Park to listen to the music and see the fun booths. We then moved on to the Logan parade at noon on center street. We use to live on center and would enjoy the parade's in front of our home...we now go sit on the front lawn and pretend that it is our turf still. Our friends come and enjoy this with us also. After a short nap at home we hit Willow park to hear Scott (Aaron's step dad) play in his band. We sang and danced to the great tunes and ended up staying for the next band. This band was awesome, they imitate the Beetles to a "T". My parents came and enjoyed singing to the great songs along with most of Aaron's family and our friends. Then for the best part *******FIREWORKS***** they were beautiful as always and we loved seeing all of the great colors and of course the loud booms. Our neighbors, and friends came over to the house after (oooohhh elevenish) and we did our own fireworks...RRRReallllly big ones. What a fun and eventful day! No wonder I am so tired today! Until next year...........

Update on the cripple!

Ok so today Aaron went back to the doc for a third follow up (3 co-pays now - what crap)...anyways the doc took some x-rays and said that he is healing well. YAY!!! He said the swelling is looking good...all is doing just what it is suppose to do in the healing process. I am getting over the frustration of Aaron on crutches..he really is doing great. These are a few reasons why:

1- He still works! All day long...bossing like a boss should do.(he works too)

2- We go on walks (He uses his bike like a skateboard and pushes himself.) We even went on a small hike.....believe it or not!

3- He goes to the grocery store to picks me up things..he just rides the motorized cart.(He said at first he had some pretty funny stares)..but now he is getting really good at the thing and quite enjoys it..... I'm sure he just wishes it would go faster.

4- Tate loves the company of him crawling around the house with him. Aaron is also a great hopper now..his left calf is huge from all of the muscle and his right is so small. We can't believe how it can loose muscle so quickly when you are not using it.

5- He is learning new tricks with walking...today he said he just would dangle from the crutches and sway his body back and forth (he says it's way hard) but it is just like walking.....yeah I bet....I can't wait to see this!

He now only has to follow up in 4 more weeks..so we will see!!!

We are still having a great summer......so many fun things to do, but mainly just being together as a family...that's all I can ask for. I could just sit on the patio and hug my hubby and child and be the happiest person in all of the world. Thank goodness Aaron didn't get hurt worse....life is so precious....my uncle died today and my brother in law (Tyson) will any day. Thank goodness for a testimony...
