I'm Gonna be a Bear!

In this life I’m a woman. In my next life, I’d like to come back as a bear.

When you’re a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for Six months….. I could deal with that.

Before you hibernate, you’re supposed to eat yourself stupid…… I could deal with that too.

When you’re a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you’re sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute cuddly cubs……I could definitely deal with that.

If you’re a mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too. I could deal with that.

If your a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.

Yup i’m gonna be a bear.

WIND CAVES!!

I have tons of posting to catch up. But as you soon will find...I made a "end of summer bucket list". We got so caught up with doing yard word and stuff this summer...that it felt like summer just flew by. I am sure it did for everyone. BUT for me....I was not ready to say goodbye before doing a bunch of FUN stuff. No, I hope not to die or anything. I just called it my "bucket list" for kicks!!! On the top of the list was to go on a hike. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? Two kids..1 and 2....going on a hike?? Should have thought about it a little better, huh. BUT, when I have an idea, I have got to go through with it. Needless to say after sweating buckets...hefting kids up a hill that ***I am so out of shape and could barley make it up myself......WE MADE IT! It was beautiful on top. We ate a yummy lunch and headed back down. Once back home.....I got to do the glorious deed, and cross it off the list! AHHH, it felt so good.

More post on my list to come.....

New friends!!

We made a new friend the other day. A skunk! Yup, never been so close to one before...and hope to NOT normally. BUT THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT....this one is our home teachers PET. Her name is Flower. She is a fluffy little (BIG) stinker. Get it...~a pun~....stinker!! haa haa I crack myself up. Anyways, kinda funny to think something normally so yucky, can be a pet. For me, I think that I will just stick with my dog...but for others...they can pick what they want to love and hug.

Tate starts "Joy school"!!!

Tate is turning into such a BIG BOY! Mommy hates to believe it...but it is true. He started "Joy School" with a few of the other three year old kids in his nursery class at church. He wasn't sure what was happening when mommy was getting him ready for this *new* school thing. BUT he really did enjoy his first day and has talked about it ever since. Mommy sure enjoys the hour and a half break also...haa haa (that was kinda mean..but really true.)

This was the breakfast Tate got on his first day..FUN HUH!!!..(idea stolen from Mindy's blog, but heck she stole the idea too!! haa haa)

All ready for school!!

Tate showing off his crafts after class.

He had soo much fun! I love to see him happy and learning. It just makes a mother smile and cry all at the same time.

Happy Birthday Tate!!

Three years ago today, my sweet son Tate was born! Ohhh how crazy it seems that 3 years ago my life turned crazy/busy/nuts--but also, awesome/busy/nuts!! I love this little dude so much. He is and always will be my little buddy. Aaron and I had many pre-kid years to enjoy together (which we loved)...but we are unanimous when we say...we would rather THESE crazy years with THESE darling kids any day over those days. Tate started us out, and makes us laugh EVERYDAY. We LOVE him SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH...Life is GOOD! LOVE YOU Tater!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

This is when I found out I was having a BOY!!

This is my boy! All 8#11oz of him. Loved him right on the spot.

For Tate's big day, he picked out a few of his most favorite friends that he could invite to his party. He has so many, but he only could pick out his best buddies. He is so funny, he prays for these kids and looks up to their potty training skills. (he is having issues with this potty training thing, but he talks about for instance how "Jacob" is a big boy, and he goes pee pee on his potty. I love it..he is so concerned that they go potty, but he wont...ugh!) oh well, we love the little guy! (pictures to come of his big day...also I uploaded 400 pictures taken from the last couple months. I promise to get those all posted for your pleasure!)
