Our Christmas card and Brag letter!!

This year I sent out only 20 cards to mainly family and a couple friends. I figured it would be just as easy for you to enjoy it here as in your mail box (probably not, I love getting mail..) BUT it was cheaper and easier too. LOVE YOU ALL!

Holiday wishes from the McClellan’s

“Brag letter” as my dad calls these

The first part of 2009 was busy trying to get ready for baby boy #2. Rounding up and dusting off all of the “BOY stuff” that was put in storage. His room was decorated and ready to go…and sure glad it was. He was about to come! My third ultrasound was a scary one, hearing that all but 2% of the amniotic fluid was gone. Dr. Fower’s watched the baby very closely. Ultrasounds and monitors were done every other day until the Doctor felt it would be safer to have him out then in. We were very scared and offered many prayers heaven-word. Almost a month early on April 15 (tax day) we welcomed our second son Davin (day-vin) Lee into our lives. He couldn’t have been healthier, we were VERY grateful. Davin is such a sweet little boy and our lives wouldn’t be complete without him. He currently is still not mobile…(which is okay with mom)…but learning more and more everyday. He has the cutest little babbles, twirls his feet clock wise and counter clock wise while in the bumbo and does a little jig. He bites on everything and drools like a mad man.

Tate thoroughly has been enjoying his little brother…some times a little TOO much!! He loves to KISS and HUG him as much as possible and WILL NOT go to bed without them. Davin gets bored easily and Tate helps in that matter. He is a busy-body...always on the move. He sure is growing up (still skinny as ever) and sadly has grown out of his baby face. Mommy and Daddy hate to look back at old pictures and see how much he has changed in such a short time. Summer time was a joy in Tate’s eyes. He LOVED playing in the sand box, riding his bike in the drive way, playing with sidewalk chalk, blowing bubbles, laying on the blanket in the front yard with little brother and going on walks. As the weather has turned cold he has been driving mommy nuts always wanting to go outside. Due to not understanding that the weather changed, an early Christmas present was a must. We got a slide/climbing wall on KSL for him to take out his energy. BOY was that a great decision...he loves it and it playing on it most ALL of the time. We love Tate so much, and everywhere we go EVERYONE else does also. Tate loves being the center of attention giving people high fives and pounds. He has such a sweet personality with darling dimples!!

Aaron continues to be a hard worker and just finished up his 3rd year of “Aaron’s Landscaping LLC”. With the economy down it sure is a hard time to start a business BUT he seems to always get word of mouth referrals. He has spent many months sweating out in the HOT of summer to beautify and perfect landscapes. He has great talent and people love his work. Many days and nights you can find him down in his office spending hours and hours writing up free bids for people (which more than half of them we don’t get). BUT he seems to always find time to play with his kids and go to his many church meetings. He equally wrestles/tickles and plays with both of the boys. Tate is such a “daddy’s boy” and follows Aaron everywhere he is. Mommy is a “nobody” when he is around. If Aaron is out fixing the mower…Tate is there, if Aaron is mowing the lawn…Tate is on his lap. If he goes to town…Tate goes in his big truck. I am sure Aaron enjoys the company.

Charee….(which is me writing)…LOVES being a mother and wife of 3 boys. One I married almost 8 years ago…haa haa!! The other two boys, 18 months apart can be very challenging (that is for sure) BUT very enjoyable at the same time. I would never change it for the world. The truth……..some days I want to pull my hair out with two whiny/needy boys. Other days we laugh and play and enjoy the kayos. I LOVE MY BOYS!!! I feel so lucky to be married to a great husband and father who lets me have some “me time” and go to Girls night outs each month and aerobics and random shopping sprees each week. I love my life BUT I can truly say I AM TIRED!!

We are goers and doers and love to go and do whatever is happening in the community. If the weather is warm…we are outside. If family is in town…we love being with them...if we have a chance to ever get out of the house….we DO! Logan has many fun things to offer and we LOVE it. Vacations though are difficult with young children, BUT we did fit in a couple. Our great friends invited us to their time share in Park City this fall. WE LOVED IT! We loved relaxing in the pool, riding the ski tram/site seeing, to hiking the Mountain side. We shopped and just enjoyed getting out of the valley for a minute. Just as of late, we went to Fruitland ID to visit and enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with G & G Wheeler and enjoy all of Aaron’s mother side of the family. We love being with and seeing family. We loved these two little trips and look forward to traveling more (once the kids get more travel friendly!!!)

As you can see we have had a wonderful year, and hope yours has been also. Our lives wouldn’t be complete without you (our family and friends) in our lives. Thank you for your kindness and LOVE!! We hope that you have a FABULOUS HOLIDAY a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a safe NEW YEAR!!

Ok, so here is the low down!

I am in a pickle on what to do about this here blog! Since I made it private one year ago I have lost many readers. I HATE that (I know LOTS of people HATE private blogs)...BUT I hate not to protect my family if needed. Soooo I am really thinking about UN-DOING my private blog and see what happens. (my hubby would be ticked if he knew this.) I want to have all that would like to read the blog read it, but due to it not letting more than 100 readers read..I am in a pickle. I wanted to invite some of my newest friends from the ward/GNO in so I erased some people that I just figured weren't reading it anymore. (was that horrible or what...I guess now I will never know.) I know that a lot of you like to read the blog but not comment and that is totally fine...but maybe leave a comment below this time so I know if you are or not.

I just deleted my own brother from the list due to: he hasn't updated their blog for a year and I have had no comments so I just figured. SOOOOOOOO is this a wrong thing for me to do, or should I just buck up and open it up again and deal with the freaky people in the world from Italy commenting on my blog?

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE ANY INPUT!!!
