Davin's first few days!

Wednesday April 15th 2009.....Aaron and Charee drove to Logan Regional Hospital on a dreary, cloudy, rainy, soon to be snowy, tax day! The conversation of the weather was lightened by knowing it would be lifted by a "Ray of sunshine" in just a few hours. Davin (day-vin)Lee McClellan soon would be born into our family. Our hearts pumped with excitement and fear of the unknown. At 2:29pm our son....whom we loved just by the sight of him, was born. We were blessed with a Healthy little boy..our prayers were answered.

These are just a few pictures of MANY that we took of the first few minutes, first hospital bath, first night, first car seat fitting, first time home with big brother Tate, first nap with daddy, first outfit and so on!!

Our love for this little boy is unbelievable. We never knew that we could love someone that we only have seen for just a few moments (on this earth)...SO MUCH! He is so SWEET and CUDDLY and and YES it will be a major adjustment for all of us...mom and Tate especially.

BIG NEWS OF THE DAY!

Well I guess the time has really come that we are going to have this little munchkin!! He is not due till the first week of MAY...but I have been having problems with my amniotic fluids again. (for some reason I can't keep them up.) With Tate they started me because of low fluids, this time around they thought that it would be different cuz every pregnancy is different..right?..but not-so-much it's worse!!! I went in the doctors office last Monday for my weekly check. We have been doing Ultra Sounds from time to time just to make sure levels are Ok! Well we got a pretty good scare that my amniotic fluids were down to 3%. They really never like them lower than 9% EVER. ****I STILL HAD A MONTH LEFT!!!**** The doctor was pretty freaked out, and didn't know if it was more safe to keep him IN or get him OUT. He said to drink like a MAD WOMAN and rest (not really bed rest...just cuz of blood clots...but sit and take it easy.) He did a heart monitor also, all was okay with that...but he wanted to see me every other day! We called all of our family to pray for this little man and hubby bubby gave me a wonderful blessing. So in a nut shell..I have been to the doctors every other day for the last week. We have done lots of ultrasounds and monitors and I guess with all the rest and all of the liquids that I been drinking...it brought it up a few points. YAAAAAY....blessings from above I tell ya!! (still not high enough, but better.) Anyways today.....one week later, I went into my doctors and back down they went....not a ton...but still to a level we don't want anything to dry up. He wondered about delivering me today, but another couple days can do great wonders on the baby's lungs if we keep him in. Such a flip flop situation...What is best??? Who knows??? So the doctor decided to keep him in ONE more day, and then induce. Scary!!!! It will be only 3 weeks and 3 days early...not too bad....could have been last week...right! So looks like I go in bright and early Wednesday morning 4-15-09 ****tax day**** to have our little baby boy. We hope and pray that he is healthy and strong. I am sure much smaller than Tate was weighing in at 8#11oz and 21" long....OHHH and plus I am dilated to a 3 and 90% today...I think I would have had this baby sooner than later anyway!!! Should be a quick and easy delivery...right???!!! Ahhhhh wish us luck!

Easter FUN!

Easter weekend started out kinda bummerish! We had plans to head down south to be with family. I was really looking forward to it....BUT I have been on bed rest...so our plans changed. Our family was alone for the week......BUT Easter weekend ended up being a great one! Tate enjoyed a few different Easter egg hunts....one in Nibley, another at Lee's market place, and our own backyard. The weather was wonderful for the most part.....I LOVE WARM WEATHER!! Easter just gets better and better each year, kids just make it wonderful!!!

ALWAYS ON HOLIDAYS, TATE SLEEPS IN FOREVER..THE REST OF THE DAYS...NOT SO MUCH! WE WAITED TIL QUARTER TO 10 AND FINALLY WOKE HIM SO WE WOULDN'T MISS THE NIBLEY HUNT....SLEEPING SOOOOO CUTE IN HIS "BIG BOY BED"!

Last belly pics!

I am afraid to say these are the last belly pictures....so you better enjoy them to the FULLest (that was a pun)! Just kidding....but they probably are.

Tate loves his little bro.

Tate loves to point and show off his belly button. I don't so much want to show you my belly button (or lack of it), but thought I would show off my soon to pop belly! Oh the joy of pot-belly's.

My dad and all of his daughters have a tradition to have a pot-belly picture with all of the pregnancy's. Daddy and I had the opportunity to 'pot-belly it' the other night. (I think I overpower him right now.)

I really do love being pregnant....some may say I am crazy........but I enjoy the movements of the little miracle inside of me. I will miss it, but also be glad to hold the sweet little one in my arms....oh....and get into clothes that sorta fit!

2 Wonderful years!!!

Two years ago, on this conference weekend we moved into our home. I remember it as if it were yesterday. It was poring rain outside (can you believe rain..and not snow in April?) and I was about 20 weeks along with Tate. I am pretty particular how I like things, and nobody would let me help move(this made me mad..but also grateful for the help). It was a very tiring and busy weekend, but I do remember blaring conference on the radio during the Saturday move. It was a great conference as always. I LOVE GENERAL CONFERENCE!! It took of course a good few weeks to get everything cleaned and put away...a few more weeks and months to get things decorated the way I wanted...and that is still ever changing.

When we were looking for homes to buy, for some reason I felt that this area was the place to be. There were other places we really liked....but not the $$$prices$$$. I felt like this area of Logan and THIS home was ours. We bought the place and the first week/months we were here, I got SO discouraged by loud and crazy neighbors. I didn't feel the closeness I was hoping for with the neighbors and ward members. I didn't feel as safe as I wanted (I was going to have a new baby...I like SAFE!) I started to really feel like we had made a bad decision.

Needless to say: I LOVE LOVE LOVE my neighbors now and the friends that I have met in the ward and area are the BEST. I feel so blessed to have come to this place. It has changed BIG TIME from the beginning FOR THE GOOD! We have had wonderful people move into great homes, we have had a change of ward boundaries...(which I do miss a lot of great people) but now it is a size that is much easier to get to know and befriend people much easier. I feel sooooooooo blessed to be in this home, we pray daily and nightly thanking for the roof over our heads and the blessing of great and wonderful neighbors and friends that make our lives complete. Ohh and much much more. (Sorry if this sounds like a thank-imony) I do want to give a woot woot to all the love you give our family. You know who you are!! Thanks so much!

The house...no grass at the time....but there is now!!! yay!

Couple random pictures of the house when we first moved in!

2 great years in this home and hopefully many more to come! ohh but who likes the mortgage??

BIRTHDAY BOY!!!

Out of all of my boys, my biggest turned 40 today!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Can you believe that I am married to a 40 year old????!??!?!? April fools!! Aaron is just 30 silly, but still that is older than dirt right??? (sorry to those that are 30 and older) My fool of a husband is so grand, I just love him so very much and really don't know where I would be without him. He is the best husband a wife could get!

His birthday couldn't be on a better day, April 1st (fools)....everyone always remembers it, and he loves to do tricks on ME...cuz I don't dare do mean ones to him...but that is ok!! (he always saran raps the toilet seat and puts a rubber band around the kitchen sink sprayer...sometimes I still fall for it, but after 7 years of the same tricks...I am ready for it! Now if I could just do a good/nice one on him! any ideas????

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON!
