Poor Zippers!

We got some sad news the other day. We took "Zip" our dog to the vet and they said he has CANCER!!! BOO. I HATE CANCER. I know he is just a dog, but not just any dog. He has been in our family since before we even got married 9 years ago. He is like our child...more-so...he was. He did get a bit replaced since we had REAL kids. BUT, we still LOVE him!!!

He has the cancer (tumor) by his eye. They think that it hasn't spread much yet, and he should be fine after surgery. YAY!! He goes in for the surgery in the morning. At his age, things get a little more tricky and scary. We will be praying for him that is for sure.

He really is such a good dog and we love him so. He has LOVED it since he has free rain of the back yard (now that we have our beautiful fence.) He LOVES it, the kids love looking out the window at him, or going out and running around with him. The only issue now...is you have to keep an eye out for ***POOP***. Ugh. His happiness makes it all worth it though.

A man's best friend! (ZIP LOVES going on rides in the back of the truck.)
Nothing is as cute as a WET dog!!! HAA HAA I still think he is. Look at that face.

He LOVES to go swimming in the canals and anywhere there is water.
He LOVES snacking on little treats Aaron brings home for him. (more like HUGE BONES!)

This is his favorite canal to go swim! We visit it quite regularly. WATER!!!!

Such a great swimmer. (He still have to keep him on his leash, due to the animal control said that he is "at large" even if swimming. sheeesh! He wouldn't even hurt a fly!)

These ducks are always just down stream from him...and he doesn't even care. He is sooo good and sweet.
Good luck ZIPPER SNIPPER!

Family Pic's!

About a month or so ago, we finally dared to take the plunge and get our yearly family pictures. The thought of even taking family pictures makes me sorta nervous. (**Think about it...two young boys holding still and smiling for a camera at the same exact moment....not very likely!! *As most of you already know.) BUT, we did it anyways...they are getting too big, too fast...why not!

My mother in law and her awesome husband took some pictures for us. They are not perfect, but they capture my sweet little family...so I am happy! (Thank you Heidi for tweaking them, you are the BEST!)

Many of you have seen these on facebook, but here they are again for those that did not.

Smiley little *Davin* 18 months.
Silly *Tate* 3 years.
Our family!

Those that started it all...

The real.....Aaron and Charee

My boys and best buddies!

Something smells FISHY!!

So I totally forgot to post about this a few weeks back.(How in the heck?? It is soo awesome!!!!!!!!) SO pretend that this post was before the last couple.

ANY WHO>>>Moving on....

As I have mention before, my husband has an amazing Elder's Quorum presidency. The fella's all LOVE to FISH (A LOT)!!!! Aaron has always enjoyed fishing, just not as much or at this capacity. He is enjoying it and even more so when he is with these GUNG-HO guys.

On a lovely Saturday afternoon we took a little drive out to Newton Dam...and low and behold...we caught these below. (It was AMAZING!!!!) ***Everyone thought it was better than Christmas it was so neat and exciting!!!)

REALLY!

Phil caught this beauty...(with LOTS of help from the other guys.) He was in HEAVEN!!! (and still is.)

Chris got this a bit after. Not as big, but heck..still HUGE! (Nice tongue ah?)
Ohh, and another look inside the mouth of a MONSTER, in our local waters!
The wife's chatting it up, as the men...did 'their' thing.
Ahhh the men. I LOVE this picture! Aren't they all so cute in their hats? I thought so..haa haa
Lillian was resting on the beach....and along came......
....Davin...to stick his finger in her mouth. Haa haa. So cute!
What fun memories we have already made and had! I think Aaron's EQ meetings aren't all that bad...hee hee.

October is over.....BOO!

What a great and fun month October has been for us. We have really enjoyed all of the festivities that have been going on. We will dearly miss all of the parties, food and fun. BUT HECK...November is fun too...bring it on.

These are a few of the fun things we did this last week.

We went up to the USU carnival. The kids got to do all sorts of fun activities. Davin won this cupcake doing the "Cake walk." YUM!
Tate enjoys painting his heart out. (They were painting on pumpkins..but they ran out just before us. Tate was fine to paint just on paper.)
Tate throwing the bean bag....to win a prize.
We carved our pumpkins for FHE! Tate was so excited all week. He kept asking, "Mom, when can we put a face on it." So cute!!

He even Kissed it, he loved it sooo much! I love my Tater.
The end results! (Not too fancy, but it worked for us!!)
We went to (Aaron's Winter Job) Halloween party. I REALLY didn't want to have to squeeze (literally) back into my sister's 80's prom dress again. BUT heck, I did just cuz we found this SWEET mullet wig for Aaron to wear. These pictures don't do my makeup and my bangs justice. Oh well...just imagine the BIG hair of the 80's and it will bring you back. It was pretty funny!!

This really does look like a HORRIBLE PROM PICTURE TOO! haa haa (like our faces...haa haa)
The close up..ugh!
Our Hypnotist show.
A couple of Aaron's buddies!

The lovely Bagley's haa haa....wish they had their teeth in. So funny!
HALLOWEEN!!!! The boys in their make shift costumes. (Clowns!)
Going trick or treating at Lee's Marketplace.
The spook alley! Sooooo awesome!
Family photo. I was an Orange Julius worker. (Yes, I worked there years and years and years ago.)

Going to Trick or Treat to grandparents. (Grandpa Mc **94 years old**)
The awesome ward carnival! Tate trying his best to get that darn donut!
Aaron sporting his long locks at the carnival!
Lastly, a LARGE Birthday party for Grandpa Vandersteen (my mom's dad) with lots and lots of family and friends. He turned 89! He is the ladies man, really! All of the single ladies have hots for this dude haa haa it cracks me up. We had a huge chin-dig down in the great SLC for him. He loved every second of it.
Two of my most fav people that was there...my older and most beautiful and most favorite...not to add (only) sisters in all of the world! Love you both so much. We don't see enough of each other.
Soo, these were the great and fun things of the last week. Until next post....
