Birthday party fun!!!

Before I start this post about a wonderful opportunity our boys were able to get (a sweet birthday party)...I wanted to share a picture of my long lost friend from back in the BATC days! She was such a great friend that always had a sweet smile on her face. We laughed all the time and enjoyed our short time together, but will be friends for life. She came and visited me at my new home.
Later that afternoon my boys were invited to their friends 'sophie' party in Layton! The boys have never gone to a party this awesome. They got fed, they had tons of bounce houses/slides to jump on, lazer tag, tons of ticket games to win small prizes. The kids were so spoiled and it was all free for us. They were in heaven. They have had nothing but fun since we moved!

Lakeside carnival!!!

Tate's school had a 'beginning of school carnival.'  Lakeside Elementary is such an amazing school, and their carnival was just that! The move has been much easier knowing that this school is so top notch! We have enjoyed all that they have to offer. This carnival they had all sorts of bounce things to jump on. The kids had loads of fun as we ate cotton candy! Yup, that is the life. My sister and her daughter joined us. It is fun to have cousin's go to the same school. The kids even got to sit in the D.A.R.E. car. They felt pretty cool!

Davin goes on his 1st field trip!!

Davin was young enough to go on Tate's field trips last year. This year he was excited to go on his very own, cuz he's the big boy now! This one was at the Layton park! The kids all fed the million ducks, played on a bridge and all the playground equipment. They got a yummy snack too. All the mom's were able to meet and chat. It was very fun for all. He gets field trips every month. Lots of fun in the future to look forward to!

Aaron's first TRIATHLON!!!

The big day has arrived! Aaron has been training for this big day for awhile! He did amazing! His friend was going to do it with him, but wasn't able to last minute. The weather was absolutely perfect! It wasn't too hot or cool. The sun felt wonderful and the kids were well mannered too! I was worried that it was going to be too hard with kids, but they played in the rocks and dirt! Which means they were golden! All was great!

Aaron had to get there a bit early to get his spot all set up. His swim was first, then the bike ride and lastly the run! He didn't even really hurt much at all afterwords! We were so proud of him and love him so much! He is the MAN!! He has the next triathlon already set up for next year! Way to go bud!

Getting his spot all ready!
His spot is in there somewhere!

The nerves were getting high for all of us! It was just about to start!

Just about to get in the water!
He's in the water!
There they go!

Just getting out of the water!
There he is!
Stripping off the wetsuit!
Time to bike!
Getting the shoes on!
There he goes!

He is coming back now...
Dropping off his bike!
Now off to the run!
Coming back!
FINISHED!!
Tired but happy!
We are so happy he is done and happy!

Later that evening we went to a fun splash pad! This will be a tradition for sure. We all loved all the fun things this splash pad had to offer.

We then went back to our hotel and swam there! This trip couldn't get any better!
