Everybody hates a negative post!

These last couple of weeks I could say have had there ups and downs. If I was to put it in my own words....I would say "I haven't cared for them much!" BUT there is always great things and so this post will tell ya both.

Mainly the downs have been illness in the house AGAIN! Ever since we got back from St. George someone or all of us have been sick...very frustrating! Colds I can handle but the BARFS and the RUNS...NOT SO MUCH!!! (thank goodness that's all over with, the flu...to say it lightly....sucks! The winter BLUES have hit the last week or so also, probably cuz of all of the illness, but I really think that I am getting spring fever BAD! I want to go on a warm walk and just get some Vitamin D!

Enough of the negatives.

The positives are, Tate started nursery and I think that he enjoyed it for the most part. He made a crown Sunday and we thought he looked awesome in it!

Jamie my "Hottie of a neighbor" had a great idea the other week to have a girls night out......MUCH needed! We thought it would be fun to just do any old thing. So that is what we did. It was much easier to kick out my hubby and child, than to kick out her 3 kids and hubby..so we did. We had a bunch of great gals from the ward come, we ate TONS of junk food, and chatted(about a lot of stuff) and played a get-to-know-you game. I really thought I knew most of the lady's BUT I guess not! We had loads of fun. Next month we are going to SLC (an over niter maybe) and shop and do whatever girls do at a girls weekend!

I have been getting the baby's room ready. No pictures yet, but I think that it will be fun.....and was cheap! I made a couple of baby blankets for my sister and a neighbor. I have made baby bracelets for another neighbor, she ordered them..and you can too! I have been croqueting a few things...baby's blessing blanket and so on. I think that you are getting the point, just getting things done that I have been wanting to for awhile.

We had our 7th Anniversary....Thank You for all of the wishes on Facebook and on here. I can say it wasn't one of our favorites by far. We usually try and leave town or stay at some bed and breakfast place.....BUT with the illness in the house and NO $$$$ we just had dinner at Chili's. I was just so excited to get out of the house for a few minutes....(even if Tate did throw up all over our table right after we got our food....seconds after the picture was taken.) We felt we needed to take him, because I was afraid this would happen if we got a sitter. He felt much better after that, thank goodness and so we continued our night at Charlie's Ice Cream and shared a shake. Ohh what a night!! Mom says she will watch Tate one of these next weeks so we can have a REAL evening....but for now this was good enough.

Side note:
My darling Sister had her baby last week EARLY, another sweet girl. Hopefully I will be able to go and visit her and little Emma soon. Congrats sis, we love you!

Let us all hope and pray for spring to come FAST....OK???? Love ya all!

We dated for 18 months before we were married....so I can say the last 8 1/2 years have been the BEST years of my entire life!! He is such a wonderful husband and now father. I knew he would be great, but I never knew that good! I love ya hun....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

THIS IS WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND SKINNY...HOW WOULD THAT BE AGAIN?

My boys are getting too BIG!

It almost seems like a daily comment that Aaron and I say to each other "our little boy is sure growing up." Sunday before church, I was thinking WOW Tate is sure getting big and so is my other son in my belly! Time is sure flying by and in just a couple short months we will be thinking our little baby (no name yet) is getting too big too fast. Gotta love every dang second you are with them, they are just so much fun!

Speaking of growing up, Aaron still is a little boy at heart! He will take every advantage to wrestle and play with his little boy. (that is why I think Tate is a daddy's boy...mommy is boring.) Since it first snowed Aaron has wanted to take Tate out in the snow, we just didn't have the winter gear for him yet. Yesterday Aaron got his first chance to go and play in the snow with his little buddy. Aaron was gitty, and Tate was unsure what all of this cold stuff was...but they both ended up having a great time!

Friday the 13th!

Friday the 13th was really not that bad of a day in the end. Work was absolutely crazy and I was so tired and hungry and fat. Aaron had called me at work and said that he had an early day off(lately that rarely happens), and would pick Tate up from the sitters. YAY that was a great relief cuz I wasn't going to get off very early at all. Around 6:00pm I rolled into the house and the first thing I saw was a candy bar message from my "Big Hunk". This was a great surprise!! I walked up the stairs and there was another candy bar message with this beautiful bouquet of flowers on the kitchen counter. I was so excited!! After giving my awesome and sweet hubby and child a big kiss, I needed to go and empty my bladder(yeah...I'm pregnant). He must have known that would my next pit stop, there was another candy bar message on the bathroom counter....I glanced over to the bed and there was another.....wow they were everywhere!!! I was jumping for joy......even with no energy at all. He was cracking me up by all of his silly messages. Aaron had picked up a pizza.....half my fav and half his...yum..and had the bubbly ready to drink. Now I know that Valentines day isn't till tomorrow, but that is fine with me. He really surprised me and made my crazy Friday the 13th a WONDERFUL LOVE DAY!

And to all of my Valentines out there....hope you have a great one! Love you all!

St. George get away!

We just got back from our little trip to St. George! What a great time we had. Our friends invited us and we are so glad that we went and got out of the cold/inversion that is here in northern Utah! The weather was in the 6O's, it felt soooo nice. We went to an awesome park a couple times that had all sorts of "modern" contraptions to play on. We enjoyed watching the kids play on them, but almost equally enjoying it ourselves. We swam at the condo, ate at yummy restaurants, played games after the kids went to bed and just enjoyed getting away.

Tate on the windshield of the car....silly! (dad was with him)

Tate had just finished up his Cheeto's and was dozing off! He rode in the car so good!

Fun times at the park...like I said, we enjoyed it more than the kids!!

The condo's swimming pool! Aaron was having a bit of fun under the waterfall.

More silly times at the park!

After dinner one night, we went to see the beautiful temple! Once the sun goes down, it gets pretty chilly.

In the game room, Mike and Aaron playing a hard core game of air hockey,we played ping pong, and the guys played video games.

On our way home, we stopped at Fort Cove and went on a tour, way neat!
