Drive In Movie! Double feature!

We have been wanting to go to a drive in movie for awhile now. It is close to were we live now and so we finally made it happen. It was truly so much fun! We had the Gabrish's and Robinson's join us in the fun. We all brought trucks to back in and all sorts of cozy stuff to make the movies that much more cozy. We saw two movies and didn't get home until nearly 2 am. It was so. much. fun!

Happy 24th of JULY!

We decided to keep things simple this year for our 24th holiday. We stayed home and did family fun water activities. We have been traveling over the mountain so much as of late, that we decided to save some gas money. We missed the Logan festivities that have been our tradition. We were sad to miss them but still have a BLAST. We did water balloon games galore! The boys were in heaven having their parents in on all the fun. We did a sprinkler under the tramp and we all fit and swam in the kiddy pool. It was a blast and of course it beat the heat. That night we BBQ'ed as a family with smores and the works...along side a million sparklers. Super fun and spent no $! Golden!

Summer activities!

We love summer! There is no question about that! For Family Home Evening's we try to do some sort of outdoor activity as the summer weather permits. This particular week we found a new trail that is sooo awesome! We will for sure be riding on this more often. The trail goes all the way to SLC. The kids love riding bikes and the views are amazing. Heck the company is pretty darn awesome as well. :)

DUCKS! We love feeding the ducks. This Layton park has soooo many ducks it's kind of crazy. The kids love feeding them and playing at the park as well. Summer ROCKS!

Summer swim lessons!

Tate and Davin started their very first swim lessons. They were soooo excited! We signed them up for the 2 week session at the Surf n' swim in Layton. Both boys did so great! Their teachers were very impressed on how much they already knew before they started, since never having lessons before. (Thanks to dad for helping them get to where they were!) The Robinson kids did them with us and that made it just that much more fun.

Summer FUN and activities!

I LOVE summer to the fullest and I love some girlfriend time as well. SOOO, hence I planned a brunch  for some of the ladies in my ward and neighborhood. We just had it in the backyard on the deck. Everyone brought a easy finger food to munch on as we played a game and chatted. It was great! Loved it all....even though it was so darn hot and we nearly all melted to death. Didn't think so early in the morn it would be so hot, but it was! Oh well. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves to the max. There were lots of ladies that said that they couldn't come due to other summer issues...but we still had 11! It was great!

My flower that Davin gave/planted me for Mothers day bloomed and was the center of our party!

Our friends and us decided to hit the Surf and Swim afterwords to beat the heat! It was perfection!

We then got home to a house full of family! Aaron's mom Lael (Scott) brought everything to BBQ out back with Jos (her family) Lena (her family) Cheri (her family) and ours! It was great! They took over the house made us dinner, cleaned it up....mean while we visited and enjoyed their company! Loved it! Sure love them all.
