Cinco De Mayo 2012!!

This year Cinco De Mayo went without a hitch! The weather turned out wonderfully. The food, people and entertainment were AWESOME!! We did the traditional everyone bring your favorite mexi side dish to share along with specialty drinks. Our friend Jeromy went a bit overboard with those this year. We had so many flavors to choose from. YUM! Of course we did the traditional HAT dance, and now the newest tradition the: Pee Wee Herman dance! Wasatch Back Band came/learned these song for our entertainment and enjoyment. As we ate, danced, hit the pinata...they sang their hearts out til it was too cold to go on. It sure was fun to have a new twist on our tradition having the live band. After 10 years of Cinco De Mayo we may take a break for a year or so...:( it has gotten a bit large with nearly 100 people coming and starting to get a bit too expensive. We will see though, we love to party! It sure was a great time and man did we sleep good that night!

Schools out for the SUMMER!

School is out for the SUMMER! YAY! Tate had yet another great round of Joy school this year with a couple of his fun and sweet friends. For our graduation party we went to the park and did a treasure hunt with all the letters we learned this year. They then spelled their names out in cookies and ATE them. Couldn't get better than that! COOKIE LETTERS!! Then of course playing on all the fun things that the park offers! That is always the most fun! Man, our kids are getting old!

BUNK BEDS!!!!

The boys are in BUNK BEDS!!!!! They are in heaven as well!!

BIKERS MANIA!!!

We have BIG time Bikers Mania right now! The boys have always LOVED riding their bikes...but OHHH MY do they now!

Davin was given a tiny little THOMAS the TRAIN bike the other week. He was CLUELESS how it even was to work the first day, but now he rides it like a PRO! Brings a tear to my eye...our baby is turning into such a BIG BOY!!

Tate also learned how to ride his bike WITHOUT training wheels! He really hasn't been using them much anyways, so we took them off and ZIPPPPP there he went! He just has issues with starting and stopping at the moment! This too brought a tear to my eye....my OLDEST is turning into such a BIG BIG BOY!! These are the moments we must not forget! I just LOVE my boys to bits! I could eat them for lunch!

Merrick and Sam's DOUBLE B-DAY party!

A couple weeks ago we had such a fun time at a DOUBLE Birthday party! This was for a couple of Tate and Davin's FAVORITE cousins Merrick and Sam! Tate looks up to these boys so much and REALLY looked forward to this party! It is always great to be with family but add an AWESOME snake cake (such a CUTE idea) and and ice cream cake, pinata with lots of candy, silly sting wars along with a GREAT BBQ....it couldn't get much better!
