Family pics 2013!

Opps! I forgot to post these earlier. We got these pictures taken the end part of September 2013! My mother in law and her husband are always so sweet and so patient AND so kind to take our pics each year. They have to take a ton and there are always few to pick from. It is rare that we are all looking the same way and smiling. All hyper boys can be a challenge, you can guess. We love the silly ones just as much though. So fun to look back on and see how they have grown. We sure love these kids. They are the best!

Pumpkin walk and Great Grandpa Mc!

We went up to Logan last weekend for Aaron's work party. Since we were there the night before, we decided to stay Saturday too. That morning we met up with some Logan friends for the Pumpkin walk! As always it is very cute. The kids ran around with their kids and played on all the playground stuff. That afternoon we hung with our families and friends! It was joyious. We then went and spent some time with Great Grandpa Mc. He is almost 98 and still ticking. He was really with it, which made the visit much more enjoyable. We sure love him and know our time with him is limited! We then went to dinner with more friends and made our way back home. Logan will always have a place in our hearts and we love it there, but it is always nice to go back home. Our new home. :)

Alpine's Halloween party 2013!

No we didn't win this years costume contest (like usual)...but heck we should have! Ours was by far the funniest, but oh well you can't win every year! ;) (or maybe you can!) Aaron was my horse and I was the rodeo queen! This was a super last minute costume, but it came together and we had fun with it! That night we ate a great dinner with all sorts of fixin's. We then had a poker night with poker tables, craps and so forth. At the end of the night depending on how many tickets you get you can put them in different bowls for different prizes. We won a $50 gift card to Sportsman warehouse. We were pretty excited about that win! So worth the whole night! We had a great time! Until next year.

Crew is a lil stinker!

High chairs normally are a great thing to keep kids in for a bit. Not for us! Crew loves to climb out of it! Drives us bonkers! The bigger issue is that he will fall and hurt himself. The darn kid will only eat for a minute or two before he starts getting out. Silly lil nilly! Sure love him still.

West Point Community carnival!

Tate got yet another reminder of a community carnival just down the street from us. We weren't sure if it was going to be cool or not. Thinking more that it would be small and we would be home in just a few minutes. NOPE, it was amazing! We could not believe how giving they were. The kids had all sorts of trick or treating and booths of fun things to do. Grandma Barfuss was in town, so she came and joined us along with Amber. This too will be a new tradition!

While we were gone to the Carnival, we got Boo'ed! We were so excited and ate all the treats right up. We had fun booing two other of our friends and neighbors. Makes for some fun times!
Showing off face paint!
Checking out all of their loot!
