Summer is the best time of the year!

"Summer really is the best time of year"!!! I love it!! Even though it is hard to get out of the house with a little baby and toddler, we try our hardest. One of these next years we will leave happy valley for some fun...but for now Logan is the happen en' place for the McClellan's. Here is a peek at the last couple of weeks.


-Davin is growing up so quicky....I am HATING how my baby is growing up so fast. I LOVE him and want him to stay small forever...YET..can't wait for him to grow up and see him in all of the fun stages. I always think that the next stage is so fun....I GUESS THAT THEY ALL ARE! My great friend let me borrow her bumbo and Davin is really enjoying it! What a cutie!!

-Last week we went to Bear lake again with Aaron's family and cousins. Tate got on the boat for the first time in his life and LOVED it. We always enjoy the beach and take most of it home with us in the truck. Davin enjoys the naps!


-This last weekend we had our McClellan family reunion. I love all of Aaron's cousins sooo much. We always have so much fun!! I was really looking forward to all of the activity's planned..but then it was FREAKEN' cold!!! We still had a fun time, but it was kinda a bummer to not get to do the summer fun things...OHH well...it was still loads of fun. I am bummed that I didn't get any pictures of anything this year. BUT late one evening after the reunion, all of Aaron's siblings and us went mini golfing. It was cold, but we really had a blast.....and Tate was pretty darn good at it too!


-Tate has enjoyed playing out in the yard! If dad is home, he is always with him. Fixing mowers, washing the cars...etc. When Tate is outside he has a thing with licking everything!! Yes....It is soo gross..but he IS a boy! He sucks on the rocks in our gravel drive and sometimes even licks the driveway. UGH. Last year I probably would have freaked, but this year my hands are full with another little boy...I really don't worry. He hates getting dirty in the house, and makes me wipe his hands when he gets anything on them....but outside is another story. He gets dirty! I just have to laugh and take it all in, he is getting big and he wont be my little adventuresome boy forever. HAVE I EVER TOLD YOU THAT I LOVE MY BOYS?



-One of my favorite things this summer is Wednesday nights. A bunch of the girls in the ward get together to go the water aerobics. I have not missed a Wed. night yet. Some nights we have a dozen or more, other times just a hand full. I enjoy the exercise about as much as the social aspect of it. One night a few of us even went to get a frosty (I know...I know...not good after exercising) but then we went to people watch at the new Walmart and the car stalled and we were in our swim suits...talk about People watching US!! haa haa funny times!

-We enjoy the grass and being outside....the other week the wind was blowing and we wanted to fly a kite...but didn't have one...So we made our own. Tate LOVED it! He is at such a fun age, we love his spuncky personality!


- BBQ's holy cow....we have gone on so many BBQ's and LOVE them. Summer=warm=perfect time of the year!! Wish I hadn't forgotten my camera for a bunch of them. Ohh and our new fetish is our homemade ice cream maker...we have enjoyed making all sorts of different flavors. YUM!!

10 year class reunion!!

My 10 year high school reunion was this last weekend. Everyone seemed to really have a great time....I know that I did. It was great to see people that I see weekly, some I see monthly..yearly...and some that I seriously have not seen in 10 years or more. I wasn't sure who I really wanted to see...I just wanted to see whoever came....and I can say... I loved seeing everyone...even if we weren't real chummy! Class of 1999 was the best!!!! Lots of great people and friends!!...I loved High school...I wouldn't go back now (I LOVE MY LIFE NOW) BUT high school was really fun with TONS of great memories.

Anyways these are just a few pictures that were taken....if you want to see more (I am sure some that don't care about my reunion wont look)...but those that went to SV with me may want to refer to skyview1999.blogspot.com for more pictures.

The class of 1999 met together as classmates and friends on Saturday Aug 1st 2009!

Everyone met first at a local park and enjoyed many activities for all of the darling children of the classmates. The kids carnival included: jump house, cake walk, face painting, ring toss, fish pond, water jump house, snow cones, cotton candy, cookies, drinks and lots of wonderful reuniting with old friends. It was a great turn out...just not enough time to visit everyone.

That evening...we ate a delicious dinner catered by USU up in the USU sunburst lounge. Tables were decorated with yellow and blue memorabilia. SV spirit was all around!! It was fun to see all of the old panoramic pictures through out the years. Many people came to the dinner that weren't at the carnival. Everyone cleaned up real well in their business casual. We watched a video that covered all of the sports and activities through out the high school years. Finally at the end we took a huge class picture (very hard to get everyone to fit) and the mingling ended the great night. It was great to see everyone from the past!!!

Many were unable to attend....but MANY drove and flew from all over just for it.

A poll was taken for when to do another one.....10 more years over powdered 5.
