This past weekend marked our 10 year Anniversary!!! February 19th to be exact! It was ten years ago the winter Olympics were in SLC! There was lots and lots of snow all around and my sweet new hubby and I got outta dodge and flew to FLORIDA to enjoy some warmth and SUN!! (We LOVE warmth!) So crazy to think ten years have flown by already! Up's and downs of course...but many more fun times for sure! To celebrate we wanted to get a Anniversary Inn room since we did that on our Honey moon, our 5 year and it would only seem appropriate to do so on our 10 year! Well prices did not wanna work with us. The double holiday of Valentines and Presidents day/weekend didn't help out much either....so....we figured we would bump it a weekend and it would be cheaper and rooms would be opened up and available. NOT SO! So sad! :(
BUT, don't start tearing up so fast! My cousin came to the rescue and got us NOT a Anniversary Inn room....But a HILTON suite for less than half the price of the other! HAPPINESS all around! We still did not understand the awesomeness of it all, until we got to our place in SLC! Just wait!!

We walked in...and this was the rug! HA HA HA! (I am a dork, yes!)
BAM!!!GORGEOUS!!!

YES IT WAS!! AWESOME!! (and there was not a person in sight! AT ALL! EVER! Not a soul was there...it was OURS!!! For reals!!!)
Pictures just don't do it AT ALL justice! The colors were soooo bright and vibrant and fab! I LOVED all the decor! I was in heaven! (I should of taken LOTS more pictures!)
OUR SUITE was SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! There was circles with stripes and swirls! I loved the colors....and check out that wallpaper! Is that not heaven on earth!? I want it! BAD! (I so wish you could see it in real person! It was nice!) It was fresh and BRAND NEW also! This Hotel just opened! Nothing like a super sweet suite that has never been used!!
The window shades (hard to see here) went up with a push of a BUTTON! A Button!!! LOVED IT! (Almost broke it I pushed it so many times! ;)

A full kitchen was included! We tried to fill the full sized fridge. ;)
The bathroom was like 5 times bigger than my house bathroom! We coulda' fit a car! SHOULDA' come to think of it! ;)
We then walked around this Hotel to see what there was so see! Very nice exercise room! Of course we were NOT gonna use that! :) Relaxation was our goal!
The pool was nice! Brand new, no chlorine only saline water! SO fresh and once again, never saw a soul the whole time!! It was OUR hotel! Couldn't have been better!
So what did we do next? We swam the night away! We could do whatever we wanted....cuz, yep....no one was around!Silly Aaron walking on his hands! He did a dang good job too!

Our Breakfast at the INSPIRED TABLE was pretty sweet! We ate so much food! Didn't want it to go to waste! ;)
We enjoyed filling our mouths and tummies at this very long kitchen table all by our lonesome! So CUTE and FUN!
Of course we didn't check out of this grand place till it was exactly when we had too. We watched a movie and vegged kid-less for the morning! (We missed them of course, but enjoyed it as well!) Awww, felt so good!
We went to the SLC temple! BEAUTIFUL and nice as always!
We watched the Joseph Smith Movie and walked around the museums. Very neat! Hadn't seen them in years!
The wind was HORRIBLE and cold! I haven't been that cold in FOREVER! It hurt soooo bad! We got hot chocolate and warm soup at the NAUVOO Cafe! It felt much better.....
......till we had to go back out into the freeeeeeeeezing wind to walk to our car! This picture we hurt sooo bad...of course you can't tell that though! OUCH the PAIN!!
Later we ate at Costa Vida (thawing out once again) and saw these signs on the restroom doors....oh how we can't wait for WARMTH and SUMMER! HA HA
Love you AARON! Happy ANNIVERSARY!!! You are such a WONDERFUL husband to me and a GREAT dad to the boys! We love you soo very much!! You are such a loving, compassionate, funny, forgiving, kind, good cook, great picker upper, hard worker, friend and best guy ever! Some times I may forget how great I really have it, but he really is a keeper that I LOVE with all my heart! Truly my best friend! I am so very lucky! We really have such great times together, most all of the time. Thanks for the smiles! Happy Ten Years luv muff!

WoW!! Happy Anniversary! I was sooo happy to read this post and I was also super jealous! I totally want to go do that. That Hotel Really looked SWEET. You two our so cute together and I just love you to pieces. Also if you ever want to go to the anniversary inn, steve gets discounts at work... wish I would have known you were looking, but I think you still ended up with a great deal!

Looks like that hotel is really wonderful, I would love something like that. We went to anniversary Inn on our last anniversary but only because we had a discount for it. The prices are crazy for one night!
