Santa run 5k!
My workmate talked me and Tate into running the Ogden City Santa 5K run! It was fun! Tate had been excited to run it for over a month, then he got sick. He fevered for almost a week but still made sure he would run it. I was so proud that he had the strength to do it, even when weak. The run was super cute! Everyone was in santa suits and yes, there were hundreds of us. We ran the main drag in Ogden as people watched us. They gave out milk and cookies along the way and at the end. Christmas music was blaring as we ran. It was so funny! HA! It was quite the fun and memorable experience. After which they did a electric parade which was amazing but super cold!!!! They turned on the lights with a bunch of cute booths and fireworks too. Those were amazing as well! I think that is a new fav for me....Christmas lights and fireworks! Awww...LOVE! New tradition marked in our book.
Thanksgiving 2013!
Yay, it is that time again...Thanksgiving! The kids make and do fun and great things in their classes at school! I was so impressed this year with how festive they were! Tate was super sick one Sunday and missed his primary class. His teacher and his son (Tates friend Benji) brought him this home made turkey filled with treats and a thankful note saying they were thankful for him. How cute is that? Thanksgiving day we went up to Logan to my parents. Reid and Cristi were the only ones that were there this year with us. It was still fun and super duper yummy! Gotta love your momma's cookin'! We got all fat and sassy (as dad calls it!) Kiera came home with me for all the black friday sales! Yay! Fun times!
Eatin' it all up!

Cousin fun!
Now that the boys live closer to their cousins, they get to party it up more! Lydia had a birthday party at a super fun place called "Classic fun center"! She turned 7! The kids were able to jump on all the fun bounce slides and fun things they have to offer. They ate cake and gave their gifts. Us sisters were able to chat it up while they played. Fun for all!
Fun Saturday get away!
Our little family and some friends thought it would be fun to have a little get away in SLC! We decided we would hit the SCHEELS sporting goods store that we haven't yet been to. The boys had a wonderful time and us old people too. The ferris wheel was obviously a fav for all. We loved the ride and doing it in a store was just that much more cool! The fish and animals were neat to look at as well. We were a bit rushed because next on the agenda was the TRAVERSE MTN tree lighting party. We were excited to go and see their huge tree get all lit up! They had a concert, santa and Mrs clause as well! But the best thing of the evening was the fireworks! LOVE THOSE! They were huge, close and amazing! It was fun to walk around with our friends and chat as well. It was a great start to this holiday season.

Apple sause and friends!
My parents have a thousand and one fruit trees in their yard. Apples are the majority! They have way more than their little mouths can eat, so they shared...A TON! So we saused them apples! Yummy yummy apples sause it is too!! We did a few batches for FHE and the boys LOVED helping. Yay for me and hard working boys! LOVE IT and THEM!
The next morning the boys had a surprise visitor come! JACKSON! One of their very best friends from Logan. The kids got in their Halloween costumes and played for good time sake. It was great to see these fun people again!
