December 29th 2012 was a special day for or family. The very first grandchild got married!
Alysse is my oldest brothers oldest daughter. She is from OR and came to USU swearing she WOULD NOT get married until she was done! HA! She held out 2 years, but this Jeffery kid had his eye on her from the first semester she was here. She gave in, and they tied the knot! What a cute and fun couple! They had a fancy reception before in OR, then got married in the SLC temple and had a smaller reception here in Lehi that night. It was a neat day to see her so happy and radiant!
The sealing was super neat and full of tears of happiness from all. Then we came out and
FROZE waiting for the sweet couple to come. Couldn't have picked a colder day, but it was still so beautiful!

That day after the wedding breakfast, there was some time to kill before the reception. My nieces and nephews can be quite strange....ha ha!

GREAT grandpa Vandersteen came to join in on the fun! He is getting up there in age, so it was good to have him come for a bit.
