Camping!!

I have lost track of how many years in a row we have gone camping with the Holton's! It is our little tradition up Left fork Canyon! Each time we get a new camp ground and each time we say it is the best one yet. This year was the best one yet! :) It really was perfect! It had great spots for our tent, lovely kitchen area...and the little river flowing next to it was prefect to play in. Not scary at all due to a little dam there. We made some yummy meals, and had lots of great laughs. Didn't sleep the best...but heck you can't get everything...right!? Fun times though, fun times! Until next year...

Going away party!

My lovely friend Megan Barker was so very kind to throw a little GNO for some of the ladies in my neighborhood as a going away party! Tis a very busy time of year and most had things going and weren't able to come...but those that did we had a good time. We ate yummy pizza, and chatted. Three families joined in on the fun too. So, it was a mix thing! It was very thoughtful of her.

New splash pad and cruise in!

This year my sister came up to Logan to play for a few days. We had fun shopping together, chatting and letting the kids play together! They did on the tramp with the sprinklers underneath...the new splash pad in North Logan! Theses kids sure have great times together!

We hit the Cruise In on Center street this year. Normally we have been going to main. We thought we would take it easy due to the crazy life we hold at the moment! The kids enjoyed the cars and then we hit Macey's for Ice cream cones! The Whiteside's were there so we had fun eating with them and chatting.

The 4th of July festivities!

This year on the fourth we had our friend Ryan come and stay the night at our house. His wife is about ready to pop any day and wasn't up for the trip. He came to the fireworks the night before and then we planned a day of fun at the beach. We decided to go to Hyrum Dam beach! It was perfect! The sun was hot, the water was perfect...and the company even better. The kids played and of course we ate some good snacks! Have I ever said I LOVE the 4th?!?! Yes, cuz it is fun, food, family, friends and festivities...oh and the warmth! :)

Someone had this awesome tricycle there..Tate was the lucky one to take it for a spin. He had a BLAST!

Later that night G and G Barfuss had a fun little BBQ out back and fireworks out in the street. The kids had a grand ole time. This year I think the colorful smoke bombs were the favorite. Not too bad when they are super cheap!

Crew was tired after a long day ..and the fireworks sorta scared him! He did ok, though!

That night after getting the kids down for bed, Aaron and I got on the roof! We love this tradition. It is just us on top of the world...but tons of fireworks are going off all over the valley. We love that we get to enjoy them, and they are free! HA HA! We always try and take a picture with our eyes open, but have such a hard time in the dark. They are funny to look at afterwards!
