A busy week!

This week was full of lots of great and fantastic summer enjoyment! Lots of great pictures were taken...but few are being shared! Here are some of the main events.

Of course play dates at the parks. Duck feeding usually is involved...

F
amily Home Evening up to a NEW and exciting picnic spot. We found a PERFECT little spot away from WILD and crazy rivers.

The kids can get dirty!!

It even has a SECRET little cave!! Super cute.

Chris and Aaron enjoy being KIDS climbing around and goofing off.

Cherries are NOW on in FORCE at my parents house. TONS of them!! Cherry picking parties have been a BIG deal for the fam!

Aaron picks ONLY the big beautiful PURPLE ones. He likes being selective of the GREAT ones. Who can blame him when there are 4 huge trees.

The boys enjoy getting MESSY eating as many as they can.

My dearest friend Danielle (one of the sweetest and most down to earth people I know) came to Logan from NV to visit us for a bit. Ohhh how I have missed this BEAUTIFUL gal. The kids played as we chatted and chatted away. I love her mucho, and wish we could see more of each other. :(
My Danielleeee belly!

Another day we had a swim party out back in the pool and did sprinklers under and ON the tramp. How have I been living without a tramp for these years? They are so much fun!

Cute kids filling the pool!
Daddy got into the fun just about as much as the boys! (He even was jumping once and his swim trucks fell right off..haa haa. Thank goodness he had under armor on. Yes, the neighbors saw! HA HA!!!!)

Daddy brings home sweet TRACTORS from time to time. The boys LOVED this sweet little number.

More medical issues this week. UGH! Tate got attacked in the sand box! The docs are not sure exactly what from, but we are thinking a HOBO!! Yeah, chalk it off of the list for our family of crazy stuff. I tell ya what!! UGH UGH UGH!!!

Last but not least!!!!

This week was the 2011 McClellan REUNION!!! I have said it before, and I will say it again...I LOVE all of Aaron's cousins!!! I really do! Both sides too. They are such great and FUN people. When I married into the family, they excepted me right off the bat and have been my best of pals. Good times have been had, that is for sure!! We look forward to every other year to come around sooner than later. We laugh and joke and just have a complete BALL! Love you all!

They all flew/drove in from WA and CO. We are the lucky ones and have it here in Logan due to Grandpa Mc Living here..and is 96 years old. What a trooper!

We played the AMAZING RACE around Logan. Each family competed against the others. We all started up at the USU ropes course, then went to 1st Dam, Willow park, Old main hill, Tabernacle and then back to the ropes course! We had different tasks to be done and of course it was all timed!

We got 2nd PLACE!!! Not too shabby for how many people in our family there are.

1st Dam!
Plugging holes to get the ball up to the top of the tube! We got it done in a minute and a half!! Woowhooo!!

Our family all in our Aggie blue shirts!! WOW it was HOT!

Old main hill. Had to go to the top and had to figure out a tricky maze. Forgot to get a picture of it BUT, I did get one of BIG old Tongan Walt with a teeny tiny Buzz light year back pack. HA HA!

At the tabernacle we had to get 4 mouse traps from one end of the course to the other with out using our hands. We could use these Styrofoam thingers though. Super hard, but TEAM work got us a GREAT time and score!! YAY!!
We then did the great wall of china (at the USU ropes course.) All 90+ people had to help each other one at a time over the 12 foot wall. Toward the end, it got pretty tricky due to once you go over, you can't help the others anymore. Let's just say there was some bumps and bruises, but some good ol team unity! Good times!

I love these PEOPLE!
We then went to Central Park and ate a big meal and had lots of activities for the kids. Then off to Grandpa's church for more food, treats and games. The next day was the same way. Food and chatting! Great times for all of course!!!

Some of the lady's at the closing social lunch. (Willow park, last day.)

This is our better side. LOVE YOU ALL!

After all of the family had left and the reunion was over. BOO!!! We went swimming with some of the cousins that still were still in town for just one more night. Aaron's cousin is a big wig for the Marriott...so we got to swim. YAY!
We all had a great time splashing around and have some good ol laughs....until...
This little sweetie named Bella next to Tate almost drowned. It was the most scariest thing ever! Makes me so sick and emotional to even think about it. Aaron and I have talked about how easy it is to slip away from this earth and it frightens me so much. WATER has always frightened me to a point, and this the reason why. There were a lot of people swimming and playing around and just seconds of her parents looking the other way...and she went under. I was the one that pulled her out of the water. Her face still is imprinted in my memory of how she looked. Let's just say, not good at all. We didn't have to do CPR (thank heavens) but a few slaps on her back and water and throw up came rushing out. She has lots of water still in her lungs, and wasn't quite acting herself. We are just hoping and praying to our heavenly father that all is okay with her and her family. She is such a sweetheart and it would just be so terrible if she wasn't okay!! Just a reminder to always keep full attention to those little ones...Life depends on it!

So sorry to end this post on a sad note....not really the best way to end off the week. That is for sure! (...but that's just how it goes I guess.) It was a great week for the most part and lots more fun and enjoying UPLIFTING things will be happening this week. Stay tuned!
