Good Times!

Some of the good times of the week consisted of:

Making HOME made donuts for family night. (These are super good and tasty, but make you super sick after eating fifteen!! :) Rightfully so..I guess!!!
Donuts are the best in the form of HOLES!!
Helping mommy lick the beaters!! YUM!
The boys are HUGE into any type of TRACTOR or TRAILER of any sort that involves DIRT and ROCKS that make HOLES!

The Kennecott Copper Mine called our name.....and so we went!
DIRT + ROCKS + HOLES= Great times!
Learning time! Super cute!
AHHHH TRACTORS!!!
LOTS of them!!!!
BIG tires!!! WOW!

They could have watched ALL day!!
Like really....ALL DAY! So many trucks coming up and down!! What a view!
Mom and Dad had a great time watching the boys, but really enjoyed it ourselves also! Happy times all around!
We even splurged and got souvenirs! Mom got a SWEET copper bell for her collection, and the boys got copper Planes!
This week we finally made it for our year outing to Logan's ZOO! The boys were in heaven once again. DAVIN is HUGE into animals right now. SO very cute to see him get so excited!! It was so blistering HOT we got a slushy to make the rounds. It worked out perfectly!! WE LOVE SUMMER BABY!!
HAA HAA! Davin looks like one of the BIRDS at the bird ZOO!! HAA HAA! LOVE him!!

Which is better? Animals or the slushy? EQUAL!

My main man WON a $300 TREE with a drawing!! Not just a tree though, a NICE BIG one!! Great job buddy...and Thanks Zollingers!!!
Unloading it off of the trailer! WOW was it heavy!
We had dug this hole a few days before for family night. We thought it was a huge hole...NOPE, it needed to be MUCH larger! (Tate really was quite the help with his shovel. He really was. What a great helper!!)
Here it sits!! BEAUTIFUL!!! Way to Go babe, just saved us $300 bucks there! ;)

Swim aerobics has ended for the season! BOO! It was a good season of course, along side all of the hectic schedules to get there....but we made it a few times!
The season ender swim party was a HOOT also! Lots of fun going down the slides in complete darkness~! Kinda FREAKY...and YES, I did go down the big slide a BUNCH! WEDGIE ALERT!! (Be proud Megan B....be proud!! he he)

Just to prove it, here is a scary pic!
Our super AWESOME swim instructor in the middle! She has SOO much energy! Gotta love her!

(I passed the season with only one sore thumb and one tweaked wrist. Only one pulled hamstring and lots of sore muscles. Haa haa~) I sound OLD huh?? HAA HAA!

The results are what we like, and I think we got some of those! ;)

Arm muscles are getting where I want them...SORTA....getting rid of that choir arm baby! haa haa

Love ya all!

ha ha, our boys are in love with all things construction/tractor/digging as well, and it has been our one goal this summer to take them to kennecott....hmmm..may have to make that a fall goal. glad you went, though, and it does look like a little boys paradise! and i am sure you have never had a 'choir arm' you are the only person on the planet who could eat 15 donuts (which sounded YUM by the way) and not get a choir arm :-)

I am so glad you blog- since i hardly see you anymore, it's the only way I can see your cute face and what's going on in your life. Kennecot must have been a big hit this summer, I know lots of people that went this summer- maybe I need to get on the band wagon and head down there too :)
Next summer i am ALL about swim aerobics with you guys, i'll have some serious baby pudge to lose :)
luv ya lots

So very proud of you sweetie! BUT, did you go off the high dive also? No, ok next year ;) I really did want to go to swim aerobics towards the end. I just completely forgot about it. Mommy brain alert!
I never would have thought about going to the mine for fun, but the boys would love that.
Miss you as always. Hope you and your sweet boys are doing well.
