More summer time!

My dear friend Brittnee moved away a year or so ago. :( BOO! It has been so sad having her gone, but we do meet "in the middle" at times. This last week we planned on meeting at the 'Tree house Museum'. This was great for the kids to have some fun while us ladies chatted away. It was great!! The kids played for hours...just having a BLAST!! After which we then went and ate a YUMMMY salad at Costa Vida while watching the "Flow riders" surf. SOO COOL!! I am going back to try that with my hubs for sure. It looks super hard, but FUN! (I want to try the "Ifly" also!!) We let the kids play in the fountains for a bit, and then had to say our goodbyes. Sad times. It might be a while before we meet up again due to her having her sweet little one. Here are some of the pics to go along with the day.

The TREE HOUSE MUSEUM!!!

These horses are all around in Ogden outside! Tate wanted to ride one before we went inside and rode more.

Davin on a COW!
Then on a horse!

Tate looks like a natural.
Other random and fun times around the museum!
Milking!!
Crafting time! These are the animals the kids made! SUPER CUTE!
I had to get a pic of Britt's belly while she wasn't looking. Sorry Britt, but it was soo cute! ha ha!
More fun times around the place...
Mr. Davin President!!
We made beautiful flowers! Haa haa
Even played out in the water outside! Got soaked!
Lunch time eating yummy Costa Vida!!
Watching...Flowrider!! This IS on my TOO DO list soon!

Thanks for the great times Brittnee (as always!!)

Of course more pool time this week!! Always a joy going for our weekly visit!

BEAR LAKE RASPBERRY DAYS!!! We took a drive to the good ol Lake of the Bear. We watched the raspberry days parade, enjoyed some booth shopping, but more importantly enjoyed listening to Grandpa Scott's band (WB) playing the entertainment. Good times were had!

The parade was just about to start! The kids where ready with bag in hand to fill FULL.
Raspberry floats were a must, of course!!!
We even were lucky enough to run into our good friends the Whitesides!

They let Aaron borrow their large umbrella even, so he wouldn't melt. He had the best seat in the house...sitting back watching the parade and eating all of the candy!!

What a great parade. They had a walking petting zoo too. COOL!!
Then for the main event!! THE FAB ENTERTAINMENT for the evening!! Good job SCOTTIE! (front left)
Grandma and the kids front and center!
The boys even got a bit closer than should have! HA HA! Cute though!
Relaxing!

CAMPING TIME!!!

It is now the time of year to try this Camping stuff out again. The kids are getting older and Davin hadn't done it yet. We tried it...and it was a SUCCESS!!! The dutch ovens were AWESOME, the camp sight was PERFECT, the friends...hilarious and best of all....the boys slept great! YAY!! Now we might just try our UINTA camping trip reunion after all??

Here are some of the pics...

Eating our traditional dutch ovens. (We have done these ever since we met the Holton's 4 1/2 years ago.) Good times!

COBBLER!!
SMORES!!
Our FAMILY!!!!
Around the fire til the kids crashed.
BED and TENT time!! Tate was SOOO excited!! (Silly Aaron!)

The next morning the boys went fishing of course. The girls slept in with the kids. We then made a HUGE (mountain men) breakfast and enjoyed our most FABULOUS camp sight. ~Left hand fork canyon.~

We played cards, and so did the kids!
We played in the river. (we found a perfect and slow/safe area.) It was cold, but refreshing and so much fun!

PEEK A BOO DAVIN!
It was such a HOT day, the boys chilled out for quite some time IN the river.
The rest of the group then joined. SO MUCH FUN! The men and kids even dunked their heads! OUCH!
We just chilled and enjoyed our entire day up in the B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. mountains! Loved it!!

Good memories and times have been made!

That's a wrap for the week!

Fun updates! It was so fun to be at the parade with you. Guys. I'm glad your camping was a success. I'm too chicken to go but I bet the kids love it. I haven't been to the pool enough this year. You should come over and we could have a BBQ. Love your guts.

What a fun update!!! I have been meaning to go to the treehouse museum, but I have yet to go- it sure looks awesome!!!
We were at Bear Lake for raspberry day's, but I didn't see you guys- probably because we weren't at the parade :)
Oh camping!!!! So much of summer the campgrounds were flooded that I am itching to go- it looks like you guys had a great spot, which campground did you go to?
You sure know how to have a good time, can you teach me????
