Well not even a week and a half after getting home from the good ol Weiser Idaho Reunion...(
posts below) we were headed back up to Grandpa's funeral! We all were still so shocked and in aww that this stroke even happened due to him being so healthy and funny and just plain ol
GRANDPA WHEELER a week ago! How could he be gone? How did this happen? We should have stopped in one more time to give him one last hug, but how do you know? He knew we loved him..and we all knew he loved us!
We made the long drive, checked back into the same hotel we had been in (the kids were in heaven yet once again!) We saw lots of great family, got a good nights rest before the big day of the funeral!
The funeral was perfect! Great things were said, things were learned...and pretty much it couldn't have gone on any more smoothly!
Every member of the WHOLE side of the family was there except for 2 that are deployed in Afghanistan. Talk about a REUNION! This was much bigger than the one we just had. Too bad things like this bring ALL the family together! It was a bitter sweet joyious time! Grandma is doing well for the most part! She is strong and we love her!
After a long day of tears, we needed some fun in the sun!!! A bunch of the family hopped in the hotel pool to cool off after very high 108 temperatures! It was super fun to have so many family members all in one hotel and pool!
