This morning we woke early in
AZ and got all ready to drive to
SAN DIEGO, CA!! It's only about 3 hrs away...just a drop in the bucket compared to what we had been driving. We first got checked into our hotel and got our bellies full of food. We then went to
MISSION BAY! It's just like right out of the movies. People on long boards, skate boards, roller bladeing, bikes and so much more! So fun! We had strollers! HA HA! Some people were in their swim gear, others like us in jackets! It was COLD compared to AZ!! The wind was the only issue..and baby Crew was not feeling well! Put a small damper on it! It was still fun to play in the sand and water.
The sights were gorgeous as we walked around! What a neat place! Sight seeing and shopping are a great cheap way to vacation!
We then went to a cute place called
"Old town"! It was the first place in CA and had a fun Mexican atmosphere! On this
SPECIAL day...it happened to be
AARON'S Birthday! My parents spoiled us and took us out to eat at a way cute place called the Coyote! The food was yummy and it was packed!
These awesome Mexican singers came around to sing! They of course did a great rendition of 'Happy Birthday' for my Luv muff! So fun!

The kids got these plane balloons also! Spoiled!
Just up the road was another Morman Battalion visitors center! They had a
VERY cute presentation for the kids! We would move from one room to another!The kids and all of us enjoyed it very much!
As we were leaving, we saw a perfect spot for a photo! Such a lovely bush and arch!
LOVED IT!
We then went to our Hotel to rest our eyes...for another day in good ol SD!
