~Caribbean Cruise 2011~

April 10-17th 2011 were FABULOUS days of our recent lives!! Totally ROCKED and pretty much was total 'BLISS' in my/our eyes. It was soooo much fun and such a total blast!!! These posts will NEVER do justice....but I will try my best. We took SOO many pictures, the few you are seeing are just a small taste. If you would like the WHOLE picture show..let's set up an appointment! ;)

Saturday night April 9th 2011 we got to the airport super late ready to board our red eye flight to Miami Florida!!! While waiting I blogged on my phone. Super tired looking yes.


Aaron and Julie played some sweet cards, while poor Rex had gone on another airline. He was already in Florida waiting for us....ALL NIGHT!!
It was time to board our flight, pop our sleeping pills and sleep the night away as we headed to MIAMI Florida!!!!

DAY 1 **MIAMI** (Sunday April 10th 2011)

That next morn we were in SUNNY FLORIDA! Ahhh, heavenly..and it only gets better. We took a taxi to the Carnival cruise ship, and waited a bit. THEN it was the glorious time...to board our BIG BOAT! The big boat that we had been counting down for MONTHS! It was finally here, the BIG and GLORIOUS day!! We were a bit excited, so first thing we did...was ATE!

We then got to our state rooms and unpacked all of our belongings. We toured around our new home for the week. So big and lovely!! Then we relaxed pool side until it was time to have our big SAILING AWAY party. It is always the coolest feeling to start moving on such a SWEET and BIG BOAT! (BTW: we went on the Carnival VALOR ship just as an FYI.)

Miami is just like the movies! Super beautiful with PACKED beaches. Beautiful skylines of skyscraper buildings and just the most perfect weather. We enjoyed taking it all in as we sailed out of port.



We then had gotten out to open sea, so what did we think about next? FOOD! Yeah, that is right....FOOD is kinda a huge part of cruises and we did just that. We had early dinner time (6pm). We met our cute waiters and looked the orders over. (dorks yes!!....there are many more pics like these in the days to come.....haa haa) We ate and ate...and yes ATE!
We took a ton of pics of our food too. I will spare you and just do one or two a day. It just looks so darn cool!!

After dinner, we went back up top to see more of the ship. We wanted to see all that there was to see on this massive boat! We took random pics around the ship. You will see more of the ship daily. I will spare you once again of all of the millions of pics.

Julie and I also are SUPER huge fans of the song "Raise your glass" by PINK! She dresses up like this in her music video. We only thought it would be appropriate to have this be our theme of our cruise and pose for a pic with this chick. YOU CAN DO IT!

Later that night, we went to the OPENING show of the ship! They got us all riled up for this upcoming week of BLISS! It worked! They danced and sang...and just were super goofy! YES, that is their job!


They informed us..we would be having some FUN! But we already new that little secret!! ;)

Before and after the show...we were being dorks! taking pictures of whatever! We are on a ship now...on VACA...heck we can! :) JULIE with two studs!!

It had been a LONG day of travels and emotions. It was time to get some much needed rest for the BIG upcoming days ahead!!

We headed to our state room...to find: Our little SEAL Towel awaiting us. Along with our FUNTIMES newspaper telling us all the info for the next day! (oh and yummy mints!) Nighter nights.


Each day just gets better and better I promise.....keep posted!!
